Gaming Performance Of Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (BGMI, COD, & more)

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra 4nm 5G SoC along with the fastest 12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB UFS 3.1 Storage. In AnTuTu Testing the phone achieves a 7,80,000 score ensuring a smooth performance even in heavy multitasking and gaming.

Performance

The mobile has an inbuilt Game Turbo mode which gives additional features by which you can make your gaming experiences hassle-free and relaxing.

Gaming Features

In the BGMI/PubG game, you will be able to play at the (Smooth, Extreme), (Balanced, Ultra), and (HDR, Ultra) settings with a maximum of 60fps. I think there should be 90fps looking to its competitor phones.

BGMI Game Setting

We played BGMI for 1 hour with 100% battery life. In normal fight scenes, this phone gives 55-60fps without any issues but in heavy fights or jumping scenes, the frame was dropped to 35-40fps. Overall In 1 hour gaming phone consumes 15% battery and becomes slightly warmed up to 40°C.

BGMI Game Performance

Talking about the Call Of Duty Game settings, in the 13 Pro Plus you will be able to play the game with (Low, Ultra) settings and a maximum of 90fps. So that is good.

COD Game Settings

COD Game Performance

For the same time frame of 1 hour in Call Of Duty, I noticed some minor frame drops but overall the phone was giving 85-90fps continuously with no problems. The phone has controlled the heat very nicely to 38°C and the battery was also drained 12% only.

Genshin Impact Game

The Genshin Impact is a very heavy graphics game. We have played it for an hour and the device has held the frame rate between 35-40fps continuously. Somewhere at the high fighting scene, the frames dropped to 30fps but overall the graphics and gaming were smooth.

Temperature

About the temperature control, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was very impressive. In heavy games, the phone has maintained its temperature around 40°C. Though at some point the temperature reached 45°C which was controlled by the phone so no problems there.

Conclusion

So is this made for gaming? The answer will be not for the heavy core gamers as there are better phones available for them but if you do medium gaming and want a balanced phone then Note 13 Pro+ is a good option.

Price

Currently, this phone is only launched in China at around ₹22,000 pricing, but in India, the phone is expected to come to around ₹29,000.
