Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G tablet’s front design and key specs are revealed on Google Play Console. Unveiling its features and performance insights.
Samsung is gearing up to unveil its latest tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active 5. This comes as a successor to last year’s Tab Active4 Pro, which was launched in October. Recently, the device showed up on the FCC certification website. Now, it’s made another appearance on the Google Play Console database under the model number SM-X306B.

The Google Play Console listing offers a sneak peek at the tablet’s design. From the image provided, it’s evident that the Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G will sport thicker bezels around the display. At the bottom, there will be dedicated home, back, and recent task buttons. On the upper side of the bezel, you’ll find the speaker and the front-facing camera.
The listing on the Google Play Console confirms the device’s name and some essential specs. It’s set to come with 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 straight out of the box. Display-wise, expect a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 320 dpi. Powering the tablet will be the Exynos 1380 5G chipset.

Adding to its features, the FCC certification listing revealed more details. The tablet is expected to offer 128GB of internal storage, support for microSD cards up to 64GB, compatibility with the S-Pen, and a 15W charger.
Moreover, the tablet made an appearance on the Geekbench database under the SM-X306B model number. It scored 1022 in the single-core test and 2815 in the multicore test, showcasing its potential performance.
If we compare the Tab Active 5 with its predecessor the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro then it boasts a 10.1-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It was powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU.
