POCO is gearing up for the global launch of its new smartphone, the POCO C61, which will also hit the Indian market soon. Today, a glimpse of what’s to come has been uncovered as the smartphone made an appearance in the Google Play Console database. Let’s dive into the key specifications and front design details revealed ahead of its official launch.
POCO C61 in the Google Play Console Database
The listing on the Google Play Console database reaffirms the model number as 2312BPC51H, aligning with previous certifications. One notable detail revealed is that the POCO C61 will be powered by a MediaTek SoC bearing the MT6765X codename. This codename hints at the integration of the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC.
This octa-core SoC boasts four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz, along with four Cortex A53 cores running at 2.2GHz, accompanied by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Furthermore, the smartphone is set to debut with Android 14 straight out of the box.
The Helio G36 chipset will be coupled with up to 4GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance. On the display front, the POCO C61 will feature an LCD screen with a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and a screen density of 320 PPI. Notably, the render reveals a centred punch hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Examining the device’s exterior, the power button and volume rockers are positioned on the right side. However, details regarding the rear design and other specifications remain undisclosed at this stage. It’s worth noting that previous Bluetooth SIG listings suggest POCO may rebrand the recently launched Redmi A3 smartphone.
Contrary to the Redmi A3 smartphone, which boasts a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera, the POCO C61 appears to adopt a different frontal design, as indicated by the images uncovered through the Google Play Console listing.
