The highly anticipated Nothing Phone 2a Plus is set to launch tomorrow, and the brand has officially revealed its design. The new device closely resembles its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2a), featuring the signature Glyph Interface on the back panel. This design choice isn’t surprising, as the Plus model is essentially an upgraded version of the original.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Design and Aesthetic
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus maintains the same Glyph Interface design as the Nothing Phone (2a), covering the top half of the device’s back panel. The first official image released shows the phone in a sleek silver color, though it’s expected that more color options will be available at launch. The overall aesthetic is minimalistic and clean, staying true to the design language of the Nothing Phone series.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Camera and Display
As per Nothing’s official confirmation, the camera setup on the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus includes:
- Rear Cameras: 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera.
- Front Camera: Upgraded to a 50 MP sensor, an improvement over the 32 MP front camera on the Phone (2a).
The phone will sport a 6.7-inch, 1080p OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals. The display boasts a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and an HDR brightness of 1,100 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Hardware and Performance
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC, which includes:
- CPU: 2 Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 3 GHz and 6 Cortex-A510 cores.
- GPU: Mali-G610 MC4.
This chipset marks a notable upgrade, providing better performance and efficiency. The phone will be available in two storage variants:
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage
The storage uses UFS 2.2 technology, ensuring fast data access and smooth performance. The device will be available in grey and black color options.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Battery and Charging
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 50W wired charging, an upgrade from the 45W charging found on the Phone (2a). This improvement means faster charging times and more convenience for users.
