Interestingly, a similar model, 24122RKC7C, is listed as the Redmi K80 in China, with the ‘C’ indicating the Chinese market. This suggests that the POCO F7 Pro might be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 outside of China.
The model numbers give us a clue about the launch timeline. The initial “2412” in the model numbers could point to a December 2024 release for the Chinese version, the Redmi K80. This pattern follows the POCO F6 Pro, which had a model number 23113RKC6 and was launched as the Redmi K70 in November 2023.
