Leaked Bluetooth SIG certification hints at Vivo’s imminent launch of the high-spec Vivo V30 series, sparking anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts.
Vivo is going to reveal its latest X100 series of smartphones in India on January 4. Alongside the Indian launch, the X100 and X100 Pro are anticipated to make their debut in several other markets. Meanwhile, leaks have started coming about the Vivo’s most popular Vivo V series.
Vivo unveiled its Vivo V29 series on the 4th of October of 2023 in India with great specs, especially the camera. Recently Bluetooth SIG certification of Vivo V30 has leaked confirming that the company has already started working on its Vivo V30 series smartphones.
Vivo V30 Series Bluetooth SIG Certification
Indications pointing towards Vivo’s pivot to the V30 series come from the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The Vivo V30 has secured approval from this platform, hinting at an imminent launch.
The Bluetooth SIG approval showcased the Vivo V30, identified by the model code V2318. This device also made appearances in Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database and the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Vivo V30 Geekbench Certificate
Geekbench listings shed light on the Vivo V30’s internal makeup, boasting the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 14. Drawing from Vivo’s past strategies, the V29 was essentially a modified variant of the Vivo S17, initially exclusive to the Chinese market. This suggests a likelihood that the V30 could follow suit, possibly aligning as a modified edition of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-powered Vivo S18, unveiled in China earlier this month.
Vivo S18 Features
The Vivo S18 boasted a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel, offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive brightness of up to 2,800 nits. Its camera setup included a 50-megapixel main camera with dual-LED flash, along with a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera configuration on the rear. Operating on OriginOS 4.0-based Android 14, the device incorporated an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Additionally, it came equipped with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging.
