Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 5K CAD Renders
Collaborating with Smartprix, Steve, also known as OnLeaks, has unveiled 5K CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. The images showcase a sleek design with flat edges and a boxy frame, reminiscent of the Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The render presented is of the Dark Gray variant, possibly marketed as Phantom Black.
Examining the renders, we notice the inclusion of three microphones and a speaker grille. The USB Type-C port, along with the speaker grille and primary microphone, finds its place at the device’s bottom. Antenna markings adorn all four sides, while the power button and volume rockers reside on the right side. Additionally, the power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner, while the left side remains uncluttered except for the SIM card tray.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is speculated to house a triple rear camera setup, potentially featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens, accompanied by an LED flash. A centered punch-hole cutout on the outer screen is expected to accommodate the selfie camera. Rumors of an under-display selfie camera persist. The unfolded device is projected to measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm, with a 7.6-inch inner screen, while the outer screen remains at 6.2 inches.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Expected Specifications
In terms of display, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to feature a Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for both screens. The inner screen is rumored to boast a peak brightness of 2600 nits, constructed using ultra-thin glass.
Powering the device could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It might run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box, with promised support for seven major OS updates and seven years of security updates, akin to the Galaxy S24 series. The device may house a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities.
