Certifications from Malaysia’s SIRIM, Thailand’s NBTC, SDPPI, and MIIT China Certification have fueled speculations about the imminent launch of the Galaxy A55 and A35 5G. Although Samsung has remained tight-lipped, reports suggest a possible launch next month.

Despite the absence of an official announcement, renowned tipster Evan Blass has treated us to a sneak peek with leaked back cover images of both smartphones. Shared on X, the images unveil two cover options for each model.
For the Galaxy A55 5G, one cover option includes a screen guard, while the other features a convenient card slot. Blass has also shared alleged cover images for the Galaxy A35 5G, showcasing a screen cover variant and a standing grip case. These covers are expected to be available in an array of colors, including grey, black, and lime pink.

Both the Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 offer impressive features tailored to different needs. The A55 boasts a stunning 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Its Exynos 1480 chip, coupled with an AMD GPU, 8GB of RAM, and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, it ensures smooth multitasking and ample storage space.
Running on Android 14-based One UI, the A55 will sport a versatile camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro camera on the back, along with a 32MP front camera. The phone will be powered by a hefty 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A35 will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chip and running on Android 14 out of the box, offers solid performance for everyday use. With 6GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable further, it provides sufficient memory and storage space. Similar to the A55, it is supposed to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. More details about the A35 will be available upon its official launch.
