OPPO has officially launched the Reno 12 series in India today. The new series includes two phones: the Reno 12 and the Reno 12 Pro. These phones follow their initial launch in China and their global debut. There are some differences between the Chinese and Indian variants, but here’s what the new Reno phones offer.
OPPO Reno 12 Series Price and Sale Details
The OPPO Reno 12 series has been priced competitively in India. The Reno 12 is available for Rs 32,999, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Reno 12 Pro comes in two variants: the 12GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 36,999 and the 12GB + 512GB model priced at Rs 40,999.
The first sale is set for July 25th. The Reno 12 comes in three color options: Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver, while the Reno 12 Pro is available in Sunset Gold and Space Brown Pro.

The Reno 12 series introduces several AI features:
- AI Eraser 2.0: Removes objects from photos, similar to Google Magic Eraser.
- AI Clear Face: Optimizes group photos taken with the front camera.

OPPO Reno 12 Series Comparison with Reno 11 Series
The Reno 12 series is a noticeable upgrade from the Reno 11 series launched last November. The display remains the same, but OPPO has upgraded the chipsets to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy for better performance.
The cameras have also seen significant improvements. The primary sensor has been upgraded from 32MP to 50MP, providing sharper and more detailed photos. The selfie camera on the Pro model has been enhanced to 50MP, ensuring high-quality selfies.

The Reno 11 series had a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Reno 12 series features a larger 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
