Infinix has officially announced the GT 30 Pro in Malaysia, its latest addition to the GT series lineup, with a strong focus on gaming and performance. Alongside the regular version, the company also introduced a Gaming Master Edition that comes bundled with exclusive accessories aimed at enhancing the mobile gaming experience.

This launch marks another step in Infinix’s growing efforts to offer affordable, performance-driven smartphones targeted at young gamers and tech enthusiasts. The GT 30 Pro combines powerful internals, flagship-level display technology, and software optimization, making it a solid competitor in the mid-range gaming smartphone market.

Display Built for Competitive Gaming

One of the highlights of the GT 30 Pro is its 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution. What sets it apart is the 144Hz refresh rate, which can be adjusted dynamically between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz depending on the usage scenario.

The panel also supports 2160Hz instant touch sampling, ensuring fast and accurate touch response, especially critical in gaming. With 2304Hz PWM dimming, DCI-P3 wide color coverage, and a peak brightness of 1100 nits, the phone is both vibrant and eye-friendly. Infinix has added Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an IP64 rating, offering resistance to dust and splashes.

Under the Hood: Dimensity 8350 Ultimate and Liquid Cooling

Powering the GT 30 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, based on a 4nm process. It’s paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, providing smooth multitasking and fast load times. Infinix also offers a virtual RAM expansion feature, allowing users to extend memory by an additional 12GB.

To keep temperatures in check during intense gaming sessions, the phone features a VC liquid cooling system backed by AI-powered thermal management. The XBoost Gaming Engine also enhances GPU and CPU performance dynamically, making sure the experience remains lag-free.

Shoulder Buttons and Haptics for Serious Gamers

Infinix is clearly targeting mobile gamers with this launch. The GT 30 Pro includes dedicated gaming shoulder triggers, giving users console-like control during gameplay. There’s also an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback. According to the company, the phone can handle 120fps gameplay in popular titles like PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Cameras That Don’t Disappoint

While it’s a gaming-first device, the GT 30 Pro doesn’t cut corners in photography. It houses a 108MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 13MP selfie camera ensures good quality for video calls and self-portraits. The camera system is powered by AI to optimize images in various lighting conditions.

Power and Charging: Built to Last

With a 5,500mAh battery, the phone offers all-day usage, even with heavy gaming. Infinix includes 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging support. For added convenience, the phone supports reverse charging — 10W via cable and 5W wirelessly — so it can power up other devices in a pinch.

Software and Connectivity

The GT 30 Pro runs on XOS 15, based on Android 15, and comes with Infinix’s new AI suite powered by Folax and DeepSeek R1. Users will also get two years of Android OS updates and three years of security patches.

Connectivity options are extensive, with features like 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-SIM slots, and even an IR blaster. The phone also features dual smart antennas, designed to keep signals stable during data-heavy tasks like streaming or gaming.

Master Edition: Accessories That Take Gaming to the Next Level

Infinix has also rolled out a Gaming Master Edition of the GT 30 Pro. This version includes two main accessories:

Infinix GT 30 Pro MagCharge Cooler
  • MagCharge Cooler: A magnetic cooling fan that attaches to the back of the phone, offering real-time cooling and enabling Draco Mode, which allows the phone to charge wirelessly while cooling at the same time.
  • MagCase: A heat-dissipating back cover that supports magnetic accessories. This helps reduce thermal throttling during long gaming sessions.

GT Verse: Infinix’s Expanding Gaming Ecosystem

The GT 30 Pro isn’t a standalone device—it’s part of Infinix’s broader GT Verse ecosystem. This growing platform includes the XPAD GT gaming tablet, GT Buds 4 wireless earbuds, and GT Power power bank. Each product is designed to integrate with GT series smartphones, creating a complete and unified gaming environment.
