Check out Motorola’s groundbreaking foldable phone concept with two extendable screens. Leaked information hints at a compact yet expansive design.
A few months ago, Motorola created a buzz by revealing a prototype of a shape-shifting phone. Prior to that, the company had teased a rollable smartphone concept at Lenovo’s MWC event. Now the leaks are coming about its foldable smartphone.
Reports of a New Motorola Rizer Dual Foldable Concept:
Fresh reports suggest that Motorola is delving into a new concept aimed at offering smartphones that are both compact and wide simultaneously. Website Rating, in collaboration with David from @xleaks7, has uncovered information regarding a patent and concept that Motorola is currently working on.
This upcoming phone concept, tentatively named the Motorola Rizr Dual, promises to be a game-changer. It’s designed to be a compact foldable smartphone that, when unfolded, boasts a display that expands nearly four times larger than in its folded position.
The Technology Behind Motorola Rizer Dual Foldable
At the heart of this innovative technology is a dual device housing assembly equipped with translating blade assemblies featuring flexible displays. This setup reportedly includes a controller that utilizes sensors to monitor the device’s position when unfolded. This information triggers mechanisms to extend two-blade assemblies.
According to the patent filing, these blades can emerge either from the opposite side of the hinge or from the adjacent side, effectively expanding the display.
Potential Unveiling of Motorola Rizer Dual Foldable
There’s speculation that Motorola might unveil the Motorola Rizr Dual at this year’s MWC. However, details about its availability are scarce, as rollable technology is still in development and hasn’t been launched by any company yet.
