Nothing, the London-based tech company, has confirmed the upcoming release of its Phone (2a), expected to be unveiled at the upcoming MWC event. However, earlier leaks and rumors about the device have been contradicted by a recent press render shared by renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as Onleaks.
Nothing Phone (2a) Contrasting Design
One significant departure from earlier leaks is the arrangement of the camera lenses on the Phone (2a). Instead of the speculated design, the latest render reveals two vertically stacked camera lenses positioned at the top left side, aligning with Nothing’s other smartphone models. Additionally, a prominent circular element accompanies the camera sensors, contrasting with the previous assumption of circular lines above the wireless charging hardware seen in the Phone (2).
Notably, the Phone (2a) lacks the unique Glyph interface, which was initially anticipated. This omission aligns with expectations for a mid-range device, distinct from the flagship series. The transparent back panel, characteristic of Nothing’s premium phones, remains a feature in the Phone (2a), further differentiating it from more affordable options.

Not only the rendered images but the Real-Life image of the testing unit of the phone is also leaked with the name “aerodactly” which is the codename of the Nothing Phone 2a. The image was shared on Reddit but then after it was deleted. In that image, the phone is also looking at the same verticle orientation as shown in the rendered images.

Additionally, the device is expected to boast a 50MP primary camera and support of 45W fast wired charging.
