Oppo is all set to shake up the premium smartphone segment again. The company has officially confirmed its next-generation flagship series — the Oppo Find X9 lineup, and this time, four models are in the pipeline.

OPPO Find X9 Series Launch Timeline Officially Confirmed
This announcement comes from Oppo’s product head, Zhou Yibao, who Weibo key details about the launch schedule on Weibo. Oppo has planned a staggered release for the Find X9 series, spreading across late 2025 and early 2026:
- Find X9 and Find X9 Pro – Expected launch: September 2025
- Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra – Expected launch: Early 2026
This approach is slightly trimmed down compared to the Find X8 series, which had five different models.
OPPO Find X9 Series: Four Models With Varying Display Sizes
Each model will have different screen sizes, catering to various user preferences:

- Find X9s: MediaTek Dimensity 9500+
- Find X9 Ultra: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2
This will give the lineup a strong performance boost and better AI capabilities. All four phones in the Find X9 family will launch with Android 16 out of the box, layered with ColorOS 16, making them the first Oppo devices to ship with this software combo.
OPPO Find X9 Series Camera Upgrades: New Sensor & Layout
One of the most interesting updates is in the camera department. All four models will include periscope telephoto lenses, and the Ultra variant will feature dual periscope zoom — something we saw on the Find X8 Pro.
But here’s the twist:
- The Find X9 Pro will only feature one 200MP periscope camera (instead of two).
- This 200MP sensor is said to be the Samsung ISOCELL HP5, a newer and smaller 1/1.56″ sensor — not the HP9 used by many rivals.
- Oppo is likely focusing on 10x zoom performance, although results beyond that might not match the dual zoom setup of the past.
Other rumored camera specs of the Find X9 Pro also include 50MP main camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera. The Find X9 series will also mark a big shift in design. The round camera module from the Find X7 and X8 series is being replaced and a new module will be placed at the upper-left corner, giving the phones a fresh look.
