Realme’s VP showcases the Realme 13 Pro Plus in a video, highlighting its Monet-inspired design, powerful specs, and advanced features ahead of its official launch.
Realme is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphones, the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro Plus, set to be unveiled later this month. In a recent move to build excitement, Chase Xu, Realme’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, shared the first-ever unboxing video of the Realme 13 Pro+ on X.
Realme 13 Pro Plus Unboxing and First Look
In the video, Xu emphasized the phone’s artistic design, which draws inspiration from the works of the famous French painter Oscar-Claude Monet. Two of the three available color options are even named after the artist: Monet Gold and Monet Purple. Xu unboxed the Monet Gold variant, while the Monet Purple model was also shown on his desk.
The Realme 13 Pro series has been designed in collaboration with Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, bringing a touch of impressionist art to the smartphone. The phone’s back cover features multiple layers that create a shimmering effect under different lighting conditions. Impressively, this design ensures no fingerprints or smudges are visible, keeping the phone looking pristine.
Realme 13 Pro Plus Specifications
- Performance: The Realme 13 Pro Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Realme 12 Pro+, promising better performance and efficiency.
- Memory and Storage: The phone will offer 6/8/12GB RAM options. Storage options include 128/256/512GB, and 1TB.
- Battery and Charging: It may features a 5,050mAh battery, a slight increase from the 5,000mAh battery in its predecessor. The 13 Pro+ supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging, an improvement over the 67W fast charging of the Realme 12 Pro+.
- Camera: The Realme 13 Pro Plus will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-701 main camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope camera, and an extra 8P camera sensor on the rear side. For the selfies and videos, there might be a 32MP camera sensor on the front.
- Dimensions and Weight: The phone is expected to weigh 190 grams. Its dimensions are 161.34 x 73.91 x 8.23mm, making it slightly narrower and thinner than the Realme 12 Pro+.
- Software: The Realme 13 Pro+ will run on Android 14. It will include new AI features that are trending in the tech world.
Xu’s unboxing video not only showcases the design and aesthetics of the Realme 13 Pro Plus but also highlights its impressive specifications. The collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts and the inspiration from Monet’s artwork make this phone unique in the market.
