In a recent report by Appuals and Sudhanshu Ambhore, it seems Vivo is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone – the Vivo Y100 5G. This would mark the third device in Vivo’s Y100 5G series, following the October release in the Chinese market. Let’s dive into the leaked design renders and key specifications.

The leaked renders showcase two color options – Black and Purple, with the latter featuring a distinctive faux leather finish. Sporting a flat edge design, the device is expected to boast a flat display having a modern punch-hole style design.
This time the back panel is going to have a bigger camera module because of the three-camera lens placement. last time there were only two big rings placed in the camera module. Overall the phone seems to follow the Vivo V27 series smartphone’s design language.
Vivo Y100 5G Specifications (Leaked)
Talking about the specs then according to the report the Y100 5G will boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display having a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and 1200nits peak brightness level. Under the hood, the Y100 5G is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, offering up to 8GB of RAM and supporting an 8GB virtual RAM feature. Storage options may include 128GB and 256GB variants.
Camera-wise, the phone is set to feature a triple-rear camera setup – a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, an 8MP front shooter is expected. A robust 5000mAh battery with up to 80W FlashCharge fast charging, delivered through a USB Type-C port, is anticipated. Other features may include an in-display fingerprint scanner and a potential IP54 rating.
Notably, the Y100 5G is rumored to house a stereo speaker setup, weigh around 185 grams, and measure approximately 7.79mm in thickness. This upcoming device is set to differ significantly from both the Indian and Chinese variants of the previous Vivo Y100 5G models.
Vivo had previously introduced the Y100 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 900 in the Indian market, followed by a variant in China powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695.
