Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphone, the Moto G04, in India. The company had previously teased the launch on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), keeping the moniker under wraps. However, recent updates from the Lenovo-owned brand confirm that the much-anticipated device is indeed the Moto G04.
Launch Date and Flipkart Availability
The Moto G04 is all set to make its debut on February 15 in India. The micro-site for the upcoming smartphone is now live on Flipkart, solidifying its availability on the popular e-commerce platform.
Motorola is not holding back when it comes to offering choices. The G04 will be available in four different colors: green, blue, black, and orange. Each color will likely come with its own unique marketing name, adding a touch of personalization for users.

Display and Design
The smartphone will feature a sizable 6.6-inch IPS panel with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Offering a smooth experience, the IPS panel boasts a 90Hz refresh rate, though it does come with noticeable bezels on all sides.
Under the hood, the Moto G04 will be powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC built on a 12nm process. This chipset comprises two Cortex A75 cores clocked at 1.6GHz, six Cortex A55 cores also running at 1.6GHz, and a Mali G57 MP1 GPU. Motorola will release the smartphone in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The Moto G04 will ship with My UX, based on Android 14 straight out of the box. It will also support virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB, enhancing its multitasking capabilities. On the camera front, users can expect a 16MP rear camera with AI support and portrait mode for stunning photography.
Battery and Additional Features
Powering the device is a hefty 5000mAh battery, ensuring long hours of usage. Charging is facilitated via a USB Type-C port. Motorola also confirms the inclusion of popular Moto gestures such as the twist-to-open camera feature and chop chop for activating the flashlight.
