Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6. Adding to the buzz, the support page for the Z Fold 6 has just gone live on Samsung’s Gulf website. This move suggests that the official launch might be just around the corner.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 New Color Variants
Tipster Evan Blass has unveiled the color variants for both the Z Fold 6 and its sibling, the Z Flip 6. According to Blass, the Z Fold 6 will be available in navy, pink, and silver shadow. Meanwhile, the Z Flip 6 will come in blue, mint, silver shadow, yellow, and an exclusive peach color. Both models will also be offered in white and crafted black, exclusively available online.
Leaked Marketing Posters and Specs Of Galaxy Z Fold 6
Recent leaks have given us a glimpse of the Z Fold 6’s design, showing a familiar triple vertical rear camera setup. The support page lists the model number “SM-F956B/DS,” although it doesn’t reveal much about the specs. However, previous certifications and leaks have painted a clearer picture of what to expect.
The 3C certification hints at 25W fast charging support and a 4,600 or 4,400 mAh battery. A Geekbench listing with model numbers “SM-F956B” and “SM-F956U” indicates that the Z Fold 6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and Adreno 750 GPU, running on Android 14 with at least 12GB of RAM. Rumors also suggest a 16GB RAM variant with up to 1TB of storage.
Display and Camera Enhancements in Galaxy Z Fold 6
The Z Fold 6 is expected to sport a 7.6-inch internal AMOLED display when unfolded and a 6.4-inch outer display. For added durability, it might include Gorilla Glass Armor protection, similar to the S24 Ultra. The camera setup is expected to be an upgraded version of its predecessor, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens.
Slim and Fan Edition Models Of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6
Samsung is reportedly working on a slimmer version of the Z Fold 6. Initially, there were talks about an Ultra variant, but it now appears that a Slim model is in the works. Additionally, a Fan Edition of the foldable device is expected, catering to a broader range of customers.
With the support page now live and a slew of leaks and certifications providing insights into its features, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is shaping up to be a significant release in the foldable smartphone market. As always, while leaks are exciting, they should be taken with a grain of salt until the official announcement.
