After spotting on many certification websites, Finally vivo has unveiled its Vivo V40 Series smartphones in Europe. They have introduced two devices Vivo V40 5G and the Vivo V40 Lite 5G under their V40 Series. The phones have gained some upgrades and changes in terms of the specs and design. So let’s take a look at each of them one by one.
Vivo V40 Series Price in Europe
The company has introduced the Vivo V40 5G smartphone in two configurations: one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and another with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. While there is no confirmation about the Vivo V40 Lite variants.
Final pricing is yet to be confirmed by the brand but it is expected that the Vivo V40 5G will start at €599 (approximately Rs. 53,600) for the base model, while the Vivo V40 Lite 5G will start at €399 (approximately Rs. 35,700) and Sales are set to begin in early July.

- Processor: Under the hood, it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, along with the Adreno 720 GPU for enhanced graphics performance.
- RAM and Storage: The device comes with up to 8/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a whopping 256/512GB of UFS 2.2 storage, ensuring ample space and smooth multitasking.
- Cameras: Capture great moments with a 50MP ZEISS primary sensor featuring OIS for stable shots. For taking beautiful selfies there is a 50MP lens is given along with Auto Focus support for sharp and clear pictures.

- Operating System: It runs on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on the latest Android 14, providing a user-friendly and up-to-date experience.
- Connective: In the connectivity area the Vivo has given WiFi 5, the latest Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port Gen 2.0, GPS, OTG, and NFC support.
- Build: The smartphone is made up of premium quality smooth Glass back and It is also protected by an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating.
Vivo V40 Lite 5G Specifications (European Variant)
- Display: The Vivo V40 Lite has been launched with the same 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED screen. It has a Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits peak brightness, and a pixel density of 388 PPI.
- Processor: Inside, it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, paired with the Adreno 710 GPU for great graphics.
- RAM and Storage: You have only one 8GB LPDDR4X RAM option. About the storage the company has not revealed the variants but one thing is confirmed there will be support for storage expansion up to 1TB through a MicroSD card, So you can run apps and save files without worry.
- Cameras: For photos, there’s a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 2MP macro camera on the back side, plus there is a 32MP selfie camera on the front side
- Battery and Charging: It has a strong 5,500mAh battery that charges very fast with 44W fast charging.
- Operating System: It runs on Funtouch OS 14, based on the latest Android 14, offering an up-to-date and user-friendly experience.
- Connectivity: For connections, it supports WiFi 5, the latest Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port Gen 2.0, GPS, OTG, and NFC.
- Build: The phone has been launched in two different colors: Brown and White. The Brown color comes with the Gllass material back while the White color variant comes with the Plastic Composite Sheet. Overall, the phone provides a very premium look & feel.
