Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE Color Options & Design Changes
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is coming in three color choices: Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Coral Red (new exotic addition). Meanwhile, the more budget-friendly Flip7 FE will be available in: Matte Black and White. The Coral Red variant adds a fun and fresh vibe, perfect for users looking to add a splash of color to their daily tech.

Samsung isn’t just updating the internals — the Flip7 also gets some serious design improvements:
- Larger Cover Display: Now a 4-inch screen, up from 3.4 inches on the Flip6. It wraps almost entirely around the top half, except for the camera cutouts.
- Slimmer Build: When unfolded, the phone is expected to be around 6.4–6.5mm thick, compared to the 6.9mm thickness of the Flip6.

- Refined Camera Cutouts: The dual rear cameras are now neatly embedded within punch-hole cutouts in the cover screen.
There’s no confirmation yet, but the larger cover display may support full Android apps, making the Flip7 even more useful without needing to unfold the phone.

What Makes the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE Edition Special?
The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE keeps things simple and retains the design of the Z Flip6, with its familiar folder-style cover display and flat frame. It may not have the premium look or specs of the Flip7, but it’s still expected to offer a good foldable experience at a lower price. Here’s why the Flip7 FE could appeal to many:
- Familiar and functional design
- Good camera for casual use
- Likely cheaper than $750, which makes it an easy entry point for foldable phone buyers
However, some compromises come with that lower price tag — such as older camera hardware, a smaller battery, and possibly weaker performance due to the less efficient chip.
Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE Launch Details
Both the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE will officially be launched on July 9, 2025, during Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Alongside these foldables, Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 and possibly other AI-powered tech products.
Samsung seems to be playing smart with this launch — keeping the Flip7 premium with new design upgrades, while also introducing a Fan Edition that caters to budget users. Whether the Flip7 FE will deliver solid performance for its expected price remains to be seen, but if Samsung gets the pricing right, it could be one of the most affordable foldables yet.
