Check out the anticipated design of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone through revealed render images. Sleek, refined, and Leica-branded camera module.
Xiaomi’s highly anticipated 14 series is set for a global debut on February 25, 2024. Among them, the 14 Ultra smartphones are slated for release in China this month. With the launch date approaching, rendered images of the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online by tipster Mahesh Ahir.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Design Renders
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, though resembling its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, boasts several refinements. Rendered in a sleek Grey color, the device showcases ultra-thin bezels, almost borderless. Notably, a centrally placed punch-hole selfie camera adorns the screen. Contrary to expectations of a curved display, the render depicts a flat screen.
A significant departure from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is observed in the rear panel. Unlike its predecessor’s bulged upper rear panel and camera module, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra opts for a flatter design with curved edges, albeit with increased thickness. The Leica-branded camera module houses four lenses.
The side panels feature a flat design with rounded edges, hosting the volume rocker and power button on the right. Speaker and microphone holes, along with the IR blaster, adorn the top. At the bottom, speaker grilles are present, albeit without a USB Type-C port or card tray. Antenna lines run along the sides.
The render images shared online are speculative, not official. However, they offer insights into potential design elements of the real device. Despite being imaginative, these renders hint at what consumers can anticipate from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Now let’s take a look at its already leaked specs.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specifications (Leaked)
Recent reports shed light on the device’s primary camera, rumoured to feature a variable aperture ranging from f/1.63 to f/4.0. The main camera is expected to be the Sony LYT-900 50-megapixel camera equipped with a one-inch sensor. Additionally, the 14 Ultra might boast a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, offering an impressive focal length of up to 120 mm.
The quad-camera setup may also include a 50-megapixel IMX8-series ultra-wide lens and another 50-megapixel telephoto camera. As for its aesthetics, expect a sleek design available in blue, orange, and black variants. Rumours have also hinted at cutting-edge features and the inclusion of an under-display camera for selfies, adding to the device’s allure.
While leaks have hinted at the presence of an under-display camera, details about additional cameras remain unconfirmed. Powering the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, promising seamless performance and enabling two-way satellite connectivity. To keep you going all day, the device is expected to house a robust 5,180mAh battery, supporting 50W wireless charging and a blazing-fast 90W wired charging.
